Where to begin? Well we have been busy busy busy at Stitched With Love HQ over the last few months. We are extremely excited about it all and decided it is time to share a few things with you.
As our Facebook friends may already know, two weeks ago The Parker family gained a new member, Poppy the cavapoo puppy. She is full of character and a great addition to the family, even if Barnaby wasn't too sure at first.
She has been taking up quite a bit of our time recently as she is just adorable and so Tom and I are making sure we get lots of puppy time before and after work.
Even more exciting than a new puppy (in Stitched With Love Land) is our new range of handmade unique bookmarks. These will be launched on our website and in our newsletter this week and below is a sneak peek at the butterfly bookmark.
We will be launching a few different styles to begin with including some festive designs in time for Christmas, and are hoping that you all love them.
Stitched With Love (by us) are going to be at two local Cumbria craft fairs in November and December and we are just waiting to hear back on the third two day event.
If you are in the area please do pop in and see us and our products. We have been busy stitching examples of all our kits (that will be available on the day) and will have all of our bookmarks there ready for you to take away on the day.
Saturday 16th November 2013 - Penrith Christmas Gift and Craft Fair at St Georges Hotel 9.30am until 4.30pm - Free Admission!
Saturday 21st December 2013 - Kendal Christmas Gift and Craft Fair at The Town Hall. 9am until 4pm - Free Admission!
We are currently in the process of making several new kits for you to buy at the craft fairs and on our website, these include the purple minion and a new and improved version of our green alien patterns.
We also have a completely new Barnaby inspired range coming in October, which will be trickier more challenging patterns for the more experienced cross stitcher.
It was Tom's birthday in September and we celebrated by going to Blackpool illuminations, where we were treated to fudge and fireworks, and the following day we went segwaying at Grizedale Forest. We have a really fun day and enjoyed off-roading on our individual segways.
Sadly Barnaby couldn't come to either with us (but we are planning a trip back soon for him to have a good run around the forest!)
